Outtakes from a recent project…pretty much sums up Amelia’s personality :)
——————————————————
One part artsy, two parts eclectic, a little bit of west coast, and a dash of southern belle.
I believe in the beauty of living life to the fullest.
I was born and raised in the Deep South.
I absolutely hate having the hiccups.
Chaotic energy and peaceful calm are both places I thrive.
I have a truly mad passion for hats.
I’m better with music.
I find inspiration all around me…alive in the world.
I love to travel. I love coming home.
Sometimes I dance alone with complete abandon.
I live on the beach. And it makes everything magical and majestic.
I have two miniature poodles, Gracie and Mea.
I love it when a client becomes a friend.
My second home is Charleston, South Carolina.
I married my high-school sweetheart…which is a terribly long story. The best ones always are…
- Truths I Claim:
Working with my clients is all about the experience. I am relational above all else.
My soul always yearns for something more.
I’m a sucker for 80s music and late 90s rap. I know, I should be rocking indie and alt because I’m an artist. I like those genres as much as the next guy…but not as much as Dre or Duran Duran.
My greatest hope is to make a difference.
Hot tea is the way to my heart.
Sequins usually just make things better.
Beauty is within.
Photography is, for me, the art of storytelling.
You really can never go wrong with a fabulous pair of heels.
Live concerts, handbags, and SEC football really get me going.
My vision is raw, emotional, sensual, quirky, and romantic. At the end of the day, it’s all about the story for me…the moment that faded before it began, to be captured on film…more than a thousand words, every single time.
- Truths I Might Deny:
I once went to gardening camp as a child. Nothing happened. Nothing.
I participated in a show choir in high school where we performed “Total Eclipse Of The Heart”.
At one point, I held a world-ranked title in Brickbreaker for Blackberry - in the Top 10.
My husband first asked me out at a basketball camp.
Okay, I may have gone to more than a fair share of camps.
I cry when I laugh uncontrollably, and I laugh nervously when I’m uncomfortable.
My brother is vastly more talented than me.
I’m an excellent public speaker, which is bizarre. I once got a standing ovation at a rehearsal dinner.
My parents had my dream life…married in Switzerland, lived in a van with their dog, traveled the entire world, rode motorcycles, and saw life for what it truly is. I’m just doing my best to fully flesh out my own experiences…
My husband’s laugh could potentially cause world peace…it’s infectiously joyful. He can always win me over with even the hint of a smile.
