Geez, I can’t wait to start blogging this summer’s weddings…
I’m culling down through Saturday’s images and just had to share. Plus, I’m trying to bring my blog back - it’s hard when you’re traveling so much to keep it up!
Seriously - this image just happened. Naturally. And I love it. And I’m not even done culling. Nor is it a final edit…but I’m so stoked. How gorgeous is she?

Something about this bridal portrait from the day of the wedding really draws me in.

I’m really feeling the light in this image. And I definitely dig the pose she naturally falls to.

A few weeks ago I headed out with Emily to shoot her bridal portraits for her announcement. What made this day so much fun is that in spite of the rain, Emily really let loose and had a good time with our session, and in the end, even though we were really shooting for announcement images, we walked away with some of my favorite bridal portraits!
A huge congratulations to Emily and Matt, who married this past Saturday in Birmingham. There are amazing images coming soon from their wedding day. In the meantime, check out the new Mrs. Coe in her striking bridal gown…
Dress from Ivory & White - one of my fave boutiques!
So this happened…all the details soon to come. Here’s a peek!

Also, one of the best weddings EVER! Plus, I got to hang with my hubs for a while and The Crimson Tide pulled through. Let’s go ahead and call this day a great one…
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

Well, now that the lovely Katy is officially Mrs. McIntosh as of last night - I thought I would share a few of the images from her bridal session. Isn’t she GORGEOUS?!
Interesting facts about the session: 1) she had mono, 2) it was easily 95 degrees and 95% humidity, 3) a 12 year old boy walked by, checked her out, and used the pick-up line, “Niiiice…” - yeah, I’m serious, 4) the sprinklers came on during our shoot, and we became human shields to protect her and her dress! What a trooper this girl is!
I can’t wait to post images from her stunning wedding to John - soon to come, I promise! Congratulations to you both and thank you for the honor of being a part of your day!
For now, check out my girl Katy…

In case you’re wondering…yes, this did destroy the bouquet…and it was totally worth it…

Images I might be in love with…
Even though I already blogged today - son of a gun, I absolutely LOVE these…

Congratulations to Katie & Harris! They took the plunge on July 18, 2009 into a perfect fit. These two are just meant to be - they belong together - and I love seeing that. I’ve actually known Harris and Katie both for many years now, although my relationships with them were from completely different eras of my life. It has been such a blessing to watch the Lord bring them together and lay out His plan before them!
Their images are so gorgeous…I mean, let’s be honest, Katie and Harris aren’t so bad on the eyes themselves. Anyway, complete post with their story and some fun pictures to accompany, very soon to come! For now, check out a fun sneak peek. And Happy Birthday to sweet K, whose birthday was yesterday, August 9th! Leave her some love…

And a couple cool shots from the bridal session…

Natalie and Justin were married last Saturday, June 20, 2009 - full post on their magnificent nuptials soon to come. In the meantime, here is a peek at Natalie’s Bridal Session. Her sweet mother flew in from Houston to partake in the fun, and we were also joined by her now mother-in-law, and amazing stylist Lindsay Keith Kessler!
Shot on-location at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on a sweltering hot day, Natalie was simply stunning and really made this a fabulous session! Check out just a few of my faves…
